Terms of Service

You may use Medestra only if your hospital has authorized you and you can legally accept these terms. Keep credentials and backup claim codes confidential, provide accurate information, and promptly report suspected misuse. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

• Use the service for legitimate hospital scheduling, availability, preferences, messaging, and shift-trade workflows.
• Follow hospital policies, professional duties, applicable law, and all scheduler or administrator approvals.
• Do not probe security, scrape data, impersonate others, introduce harmful code, harass users, or access another hospital’s or doctor’s information.

Medestra supports workforce planning; it does not provide medical advice, emergency services, credentialing, payroll, or a guarantee that a schedule or trade is clinically appropriate. Hospitals and clinicians remain responsible for staffing decisions, coverage, patient care, legal compliance, and confirming the final published schedule. If app information conflicts with an official hospital direction, follow the hospital’s direction and report the discrepancy.

You are responsible for content you submit. Preferences are planning inputs, not guaranteed assignments. A trade is not effective until all required system and hospital approvals complete. Wormhole and Future Favour are pilot features that may be disabled at any time. Do not send confidential patient information through Medestra messaging.

We aim to provide a reliable service but may suspend or change features for security, maintenance, legal, pilot, or operational reasons. Offline or delayed data must be rechecked before relying on it. Beta features may contain defects and should be used only within the approved pilot process.

Medestra and its licensors own the service, software, branding, and related materials. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your hospital role. Your hospital and users retain ownership of their submitted information while granting Medestra the rights needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

Access may be suspended or revoked when authorization ends, these terms are breached, or security requires it. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those expressly agreed with the hospital, and Medestra is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

The hospital’s signed agreement with Medestra controls if it conflicts with these public terms. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, without limiting mandatory rights that apply elsewhere. We may update these terms and will post the effective date above.
